Our handmade French Butter Dish, also known as a butter bell, keeps your butter soft on the countertop (No more ripped toast! You’re welcome.) The design is simple and sophisticated, taking up much less room than a traditional butter dish and allows all that creamy deliciousness to stay fresh for up to two weeks. Adding roughly an inch or so of cold water to the bottom allows the top to form an airtight seal. Pack the lid full of soft butter, insert into the base and voila! Take the lid and serve butter at your table directly from it. Our beautiful food-safe made-from-scratch glazes make this a sweet and clever kitchen gadget you’ll be happy to have living on your counter.
To use: pack soft butter into lid until full. Add 1-2" of cold water into base. Flip and insert lid. Serve fresh butter at the table directly from the lid.
