Shipping & Returns
All *in-stock* orders are typically shipped within 7 business days. *Made to order* work can take several weeks to ship, see each listing for particular timeframes. Due to the nature of ceramic work, we cannot guarantee a ship date on made-to-order items.
Orders are shipped via USPS priority mail, and domestic orders generally arrive 3 days after shipping.
If you would like to upgrade your shipping (RUSH, UPS or FedEx) please contact us before you make your purchase. We am happy to accommodate you if we are able.
The email you receive with tracking information is created when we print out the shipping label that will go on your package. That does not necessarily mean the package has shipped just yet - our lovely mail carrier still needs to stop by and pick it up! Once the package is scanned into the system on the carrier’s end (we usually use USPS) you will start to see tracking information associated with your shipment.
We have access to the same link and the same information you do once the item has left our studio, therefore, we don’t have any more insight into the journey of your package than you do once it has started to make its way to you. If you have questions or concerns about the journey of your package you may be able to reach out to your local post office for further details regarding your shipment.
We cannot be responsible for packages that are “Delivered” via your carrier. If your shipment is showing as delivered in the carrier’s system but you have not received it you will need to open a claim via the carrier. We recommend having your items shipped to wherever is safest and most convenient for you to receive your package during normal delivery hours to avoid theft or mis-delivery.
Contact us within **7 days** if there is a problem with your order. If your order arrives in a million pieces, don't worry, we can help! The sad truth is, USPS is hard on packages. No matter how many layers of wrap we pack in, they always manage to break something now and then. If this happens, here's what to do:
1. Immediately photograph the package and the broken piece(s). These images are required by the carriers to file a claim. Without these photos we cannot proceed with a claim and a replacement.
2. Contact us ASAP to let me know about the mishap - forward along the photos!
3. Rest assured that a replacement will be on the way just as soon as possible.
Due to the delicate nature of handmade ceramics, we cannot be responsible for broken pieces months down the line. Breakable things unfortunately sometimes break. Our pieces are made to be durable, but please use care. See the listing for care information specific to your piece, and remember that even though my pieces are dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended for the longevity of your piece. If your piece breaks within the first week, it was likely damaged during shipping and we are happy to replace your item in those instances.
All sales are final, but if you are truly unhappy with your order please contact us within 7 days and we will work with you to resolve any concerns. We love our customers and want you to be thrilled with your purchase!
